SHOW_Disk
With SHOW_Disk you are able to look at the position from files
on the disk. You start it from CLI or by click on the programs
icon.
In the left menu you get so many fields as drives in use.If
you choose one of them, the program lists all the filenames and
directory-names in the left text-window from the root-directory
of the disk in the drive.
Choosing one of the filenames on the left, you were shown the
following blocks on the right:
- the directory-blocks in the same color as its name shown
on the left up.
- the file-header-block and file-list-blocks in the color
as written the filename on the left below.
- all the data-blocks of the file in another color.
To scroll the text in the left text-window,you click up or
below within this window.
If you choose one of the directory-names in the text-window,the
program proceed how at the root-directory.Clicking on "Parent"
you return to the parent directory. The program notice all
blocks read from the disk until you choose once more one of
the dfi.
This makes possible easy working with the program, but devours
much memory. Therefore with one mousepoint you can obtain
the remaining memory. For last update you must choose it two
times one after the other.[the figure-field]
Clicking on one of the shown blocks on the right, you get infor-
mation about block-nr.,sector-nr.,head and track-nr..
With the menupoint "colors" you obtain other colors on the
screen.
With Bitmap you can choose with or without the bitmap of
the disk. The bootblock (block 0 and 1) will never be shown.
Problems:
- If you choose a total empty directory, you were unanable
choosing onather file or directory until you clicked on
Parent.
- To bring all the files- and directory-names in
alphabetical order, only the first 4 letters were used.
I give this program free for everyone enjoying an
uncommercial use.
